Positive: The house itself is very nice, and the garden and surrounds were a good size with good privacy. The bedrooms were spacious and we loved having good wardrobe space. Having aircon in all the rooms was great. The bathrooms were modern and lovely. The kitchen was a good size and there was enough counter space to work on and the double basins were a bonus. Having both a stove and oven as well as a microwave was great as we are keen home cooks. We were very happy to find two big fridges which helped with storing drinks and extra New Year's groceries. The pots and pans were a nice surprise as there were a lot of different sizes and they were good quality. We all loved the good choice in glasses and the very nice crockery. The TV on a swivel mount was useful as we could move it to see it from different angles, not that we watched a lot of TV. The patio area was covered and this was great in the rain showers as we could be outside but dry. The pool was a good size and it was clean and the loungers were in good condition. We all loved the outdoor shower.

Negative: We really struggled with the location of the house. Literally. We could not find it on the first day because it was down a maze of unnamed, dirt roads. This house should come with a STERN warning to tenants that they MUST make sure to hire a 4x4 vehicle or a vehicle with a raised chassis as the roads are SO bad that a regular car would be in danger of damage going through some of the 3m x 3m wide potholes. These massive holes became big hazards after rain, and quickly turned into muddy swamps. On arriving, hot and tired, we got French -translated to English - instructions for finding the house... which were not accurate enough, plus detailed but by then annoying instructions for the lock box and codes and keys and so on. We wasted more than an hour trying to get into the house. We had booked 5 dive days for our children and our price included having them picked up and dropped off at our accommodation. Well, that was a waste of money as their van couldn't get through the first pothole and we had to drive them everyday ourselves which meant we couldn't go on our own planned outings. The communication with Kathleen and Anthony was fine, except they didn't actually fix or do anything about any problems that we had. The pool leaked all the time - the pool guy says it is an old problem. We had to watch it and fill it daily to prevent the pump burning out. The 4th bedroom isn't private: it is behind a curtain & part of the main bedroom with no wardrobes. Only two burners work on the stove. Thank goodness I brought sharp knives! The kettle doesn't boil. The hairdryer burnt out first try. The lights flicker wildly when you use any appliance. The house sleeps 8 people but there are only 3 chairs at the breakfast bar, and there's just one small 2-3 seater couch in the lounge. The main dining table is outside in the heat: THAT was SUPER irritating!

Summary: This is a nice house but not actually equipped for the number of people it says it can sleep.
