This nicely furnished, impeccably maintained Jersey Shore home is walking distance to the Asbury downtown and beach. From the outside, it retains its historic character, yet it is thoroughly modern on the inside. (Owner is an architect.)
The large open floor plan easily handles families and guests and all of the rooms are filled with natural light.
The family room has a wood burning fireplace, a large sectional sofa, a 60” TV with surround sound, a powder room, and large retractable glass doors that open onto a backyard oasis.
The kitchen features white oak cabinetry, Caesarstone counter tops, high-end integrated appliances (including two dishwashers), and a 6-burner commercial range. It is adjacent to an outdoor dining area with 42” Lynx grill.
The dining room comfortably seats 12-14 around a large table, the Library has a large comfortable sofa and another TV, and the game room has a ping pong table.
The second floor has two bedrooms, both with en-suite bathrooms, and a laundry room. The third floor has three more bedrooms and a large bathroom with “wet room.”
The home was extensively renovated with modern conveniences, including central air, and there are ceiling fans in each bedroom. The property has off-street parking, a wrap-around front porch, a heated pool and hot tub, a gas fire-pit, and a large fenced back yard.
Inside, the home is appointed with every amenity imaginable, such as luxury linens, high speed wireless internet, three TVs, Apple TV, Sonos multi-room stereo system, cable, bikes, cribs, and beach toys. New furniture, antiques and artwork are constantly being added. There is also an outdoor shower at the back of the house that is great for washing off after the beach.
