Built on a beautifully rocky coast, we offer a sense of exclusive seclusion, yet only a few minutes drive from Jambiani.
Mikoko Villa is a real holiday home, designed and built by us, for us and for travellers with vivid imagination. It’s a 500 sqm two storey home, located on a private 2500 sqm (half acre) plot of land. Offering 4 large bedrooms with ocean views, TV and guest room, large indoor and outdoor living space, roof terrace with expansive views over the lagoon and the coconut groves, fully equipped kitchen and two bars. The outdoor spaces include two beautiful infinity pools (ocean and garden facing), large tropical garden and a yoga/home gym space. Each bedroom has a private entrance.
Mikoko has everything you need, from excellent food, to drinks, to activity and transport organisation.
At additional cost, our dedicated chef will spoil you with incredible cooking. We can organise home massages, boxing classes, sailing on a traditional boat and even kite surfing with a private instructor.
Our coastline is rugged and wild with visible coral rocks millions of years old: the beach is ever changing from sandy to rocky. Yet, this landscape is mesmerising and "moon-like”, with a stunning sandbank just opposite the house, which is reachable by foot but we advise bringing surf shoes;) Due to its slightly isolated location, instead of tourists and beach boys, it attracts female seaweed farming community and fishermen, meaning you will always have the freshest catch of the day.
The reef outside the villa is unique, with high and low tides throughout the day. While some times of the day the ocean is more swimmable than others, you will find yourself simply looking at the ever changing landscape in awe!
While only 4 km south of Jambiani, you will be able to enjoy a space with no unwanted noise or light pollution, and a taxi available at any time if you wish to explore. You need a car to get to the nearby places - our manager/concierge will be at your disposal to organise taxis even at short notice or you can get a car rental (self drive or with a driver).
