Welcome to the “Whaler’s Cottage”! We recently renovated this 3 Bedroom, 1.5 Bath charmer.
It is the perfect spot to stay for a family with kids! A short walk to a family friendly beach. Relax on the back deck under the sun sail overlooking the backyard where the kids can play on the swing set.
Located on a quiet side street in a family neighborhood, Whaler's Cottage is on an oversized lot with mature trees and landscaping. The bay beach with some of the best sunsets in southern NJ is a 7 minute walk away!
The living room is bright and spacious. Relax on the oversized sofa with built-in USB chargers and motorized recliners while you watch your favorite show on the 55" Vizio Smart TV with Comcast/Xfinity cable. You can also sign into your favorite streaming services to binge watch on a rainy day. The bar cabinet has wine glasses, martini glasses, and accessories to mix your favorite drinks.
The kitchen was completely remodeled with luxury vinyl plank flooring, new cabinets, butcher block countertops, shiplap walls, and brand new appliances! It is fully stocked with plates, silverware, pots and pans, as well as cooking and baking accessories! We have a coffee maker, slow cooker, etc. - Just ask and we can provide a full list of everything in the house!
The dining room is large and bright with a table that seats 4 people.
Enjoy a quiet evening after a day on the beach relaxing on the back deck. Sit on the outdoor furniture while the propane fire pit takes the chill out of the night air. During the day, a 10'x14' Sun Sail helps keep the area cool. Sit and watch your kids play on the swing set. Grill some hot dogs and hamburgers on the propane grill. Feel free to use the 4 beach chairs and beach toys for your time at the beach!
The laundry room has a washer and dryer for your convenience. We provide an ironing board and iron in case you plan on dressing up for a nice dinner (we can make plenty of recommendations - just ask!).
The master bedroom has a king sized bed, 32" LG Smart TV with Comcast/Xfinity cable, and ceiling fan.
The second bedroom has a twin over double bunk bed and 24" Vizio Smart TV with Comcast/Xfinity cable. The room also has a swinging rope chair to read in or watch TV from.
The third bedroom has a queen sized bed, 32" LG Smart TV with Comcast/Xfinity cable, and ceiling fan.
The full bathroom has a shower/tub combination for your young kids to take a bath and wash away the sunscreen and sand! We provide hair dryers, Q-tips, cotton balls, toilet paper, paper towels and more. (Again, feel free to ask and we can send you a detailed item list.)
