Just a few miles south of Town, this wide beach offers plenty of room for sunbathing and has a lifeguarded swimming area. This is the only beach on the south shore that boasts this many amenities. A few smaller beaches are located nearby. Fisherman’s & Stones Beach can be found between Surfside and Nobadeer beaches and are favored with locals, however, there are no amenities and they can have strong surf. Nobadeer Beach allows four-wheel drive vehicles to drive on the beach with an Over Sand Permit and it’s a great spot to see airplanes flying overhead since it is close to the airport.
