Q. Are there restaurants and bars nearby?
A. There are a selection of wonderful beach bars & restaurants serving local and international dishes, just a short walk along the beautiful beach. You will find detailed recommendations and tips in our travel guide. We also offer our guests a delivery service with food from an excellent local restaurant in the neighborhood. For those who enjoy cooking, we can provide fresh fish and seafood daily.
Q. Are there Shops and Supermarkets nearby?
A. There is a supermarket and fruit & vegetable stands just a few minutes' walk away. In our neighborhood, you will basically find everything you need, such as fresh vegetables, fruit, bread, eggs, drinks, shampoo, etc. For larger supermarkets that sell imported goods and spirits, you will need to go to Paje – a 20-minute drive.
Q. Is the area safe?
A. The island of Sansibar is generally very safe, making it a popular destination for tourists. We provide 24 hours security service to make our guests feel even more comfortable.
Q. What is the best way getting around on the island?
A. There is a good network of taxis operating on the island, which can either be hailed or booked by phone. Michamvi is by far the most remote of all the villages on the east coast, which is why a rental car is recommended, especially for longer stays. A rental car offers you more flexibility and is cheaper than a taxi for discovering all the hidden gems of the island. If you prefer to rent a car, we can assist you with the arrangements. There are also affordable local transport options. It’s about a 2-minute walk to the main road, where you can take the inexpensive minibuses called "DalaDala" or motorbikes called "BodaBoda" to the next fishing village. Bwejuu is about 10 minutes away, Paje 15 minutes, and Jambiani 20 minutes.

Kindly bear in mind that Zanzibar is a developing island, which means that we sometimes deal with power cuts or weak Wi-Fi speed. We do our ultimate best to minimize this, but would like to make you aware that it is out of our control and unavoidable sometimes.
