Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: A breathtaking location with gorgeous water and views all around. We stayed in an overwater bungalow and it was magical. You can go straight into the blue water from your deck. The rooms were very clean and the staff decorated our room for our honeymoon and supplied us with some champagne to celebrate. The rooms are a bit dated but it sounds like they will be updating them in 2026. The majority of the staff were very friendly although not always as attentive as they should be in this type of resort. The food was mostly good, some area for improvement with breakfast (runny eggs, etc) but overall decent. The staff also restock the fridge every day which was nice. The snorkeling equipment is complimentary and snorkeling in the lagoon was incredible! This is really the type of place you think of when you think paradise!

Negative: There are multiple areas for improvement especially considering this is an expensive luxury resort. The check in/checkout process is long especially if checking in/out at the designated times. They should really have some type of shuttle service to get folks to and from the ferry port considering this is where most people are coming and departing from. This is a luxury resort so we expected increased prices for food/drink but some of the prices seemed absurd (ie $7 USD for a small Coca Cola, $40 USD for a medium mediocre pizza, etc). Rooms could also use microwaves to reheat leftovers. Overall the service and experience could be improved but the location is spectacular.
